Taryn Kieller, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Taryn is a registered Occupational Therapist and recent graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT). As a lifelong nature lover, Taryn was excited to discover nature-based therapy when she completed a placement with Larchwood OT in 2024. She is eager to continue this work as a new member of the Larchwood OT team! As a neurodivergent person, Taryn strongly believes in using strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approaches with children and their families. She is passionate about creating safe spaces where kids, teens, and adults can show up authentically, engage in meaningful activities, and build social connections. Taryn has experience supporting kids and teens with fine motor and gross motor development, emotional regulation, executive functioning, sensory processing, and feeding. She has also been a part of neurodiversity-affirming research on autistic burnout, inertia, meltdown, and shutdown (BIMS), including co-creating the website www.bimslab.ca! In her free time, Taryn loves hiking, camping, rock climbing, and spending time with her golden retriever, Promise.

Taryn provides 1:1 services for ages 3-17, adults 18+, and virtual parent coaching for families.
