Our Team

Heather Cholack, RSW

Heather has been a registered social worker since 2005, completing her BSW from the University of Victoria and her MSW from York University.  Over the years Heather has worked in a variety of settings, working with people utilizing trauma informed, strengths based and client centred approaches.  It is important to Heather to create a safe, inclusive, identity affirming space for people, bringing anti-oppressive awareness to herself and her work.  Heather is passionate about being present and hearing people’s stories, with understanding and compassion as they make sense of themselves, their relationships and the world.  Heather provides individual and group psychotherapy to people 17+ using a combination of DBT, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness and EFT modalities.

Heather was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and in recent years while working with adults identifying with ADHD has begun to focus her practice on supporting people navigating a neurotypical world, uncovering their strengths and coping with their challenges.  Heather finds nature to be a great resource for grounding, connecting and healing and is excited to work with the clients and staff of  Davis OT.

Heather provides virtual 1:1 services for adults.
